About

I am a mother of 4 kids (3 boys and a girl), a devoted Christian, and a mental health therapist. I’ve been married to amazing husband for almost 10 years, and this is our life we’ve built together. I’ve been a mental health therapist for about 9 years now, and I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to stay at home with the kids for most of the day, and also work part time.

I don’t have a problem showing my weaknesses because when I am weak, He is strong. Life is constantly throwing surprises, and sometimes expected events, like the occasional child needing a changing, dishes, cooking, cleaning, finding something entertaining to do with the kids, hopefully scraping up some “me time” and “couple’s time” at the end of the day. It’s about finding that beautiful balance of being selfless, yet a little selfish for your own needs. Here I can share my experiences with you that will hopefully help in some way.

My Passion

I’m really passionate about helping kids, trying to be a good wife, helping parental figures, and spreading the word of God. Kids are constantly trying to build a self-image, and they need a positive one to help navigate through life. We as parents can give them that approval, and the love they need in order to pass that on in life to others. To me, being a parent is raising your child to help the current and the next generation. My greatest goal in life is guiding my kids to heaven. My greatest joy would be seeing them make it to heaven.

Being a good wife is much easier when my husband is helpful and is my best friend. He is able to do anything, fix anything, help out with the kids, and support me. Of course, there are the occasional disagreements on things, but we’re working on shortening the length of time that we need to discuss things in an angry, non-healthy way. (Hey, we’re not perfect). It does take effort from both sides, but I know that I can only control what I do.

I’m here to help guide with only what I know and with what I’ve experienced. This includes some hyperactive moments with kids, working with the school on help with learning, discipline, responsibility, showing each child love in their own way. Sometimes it’s just as easy as listening to them.

God is the most important thing in life to me. He just has to come first, then everything works itself out. Even in therapy, the ones who bring Christ into their life, has a greater chance of helping themselves because they are allowing His mighty power to come in and rescue them. Who better to save then God? “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:30 (CSB). A yolk takes two. Are there times when I get anxious? Oh yeah…but through the years and seeing what He has done, is allowing me to trust Him more often. I would like you to find comfort and salvation in Him as well. Afterall, we have one life, why not live for the best outcome?

My Goals

Here, I talk about devotionals, self-worth, school, parenting, showing gratitude, and whatever else I can think of to share with you!
